3-day Pak envoys conference starts today

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News): A three-day Pakistan envoys’ conference will start today (Monday) at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Islamabad, Dunya News reported.

At least nine envoys deputed in different countries and multilateral institutions will brief the government on various developments in their areas.

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is scheduled to attend the concluding session wherein he will be briefed on the outcome and he will also share his vision of foreign policy.

Pakistan’s representatives in various regions will brief the government on important developments in their respective areas of accreditation, challenges and opportunities arising out of such developments.

The envoys will also present their recommendations towards existing foreign policy with a view to review, adapt and recalibrate policy in accordance with the prevalent strategic, political and economic trends.
